About the Founder


At Waverly, we believe strong, people-centric workplaces drive business success. Founded by Sarah Outlaw, a seasoned HR and Talent Development leader with over 18 years of experience, Waverly is dedicated to helping organizations build inclusive, high-performing teams. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Human Resource Management from Auburn University and has a proven track record of fostering meaningful relationships, driving strategic projects to completion, and developing HR teams into trusted business partners.

Before launching Waverly, Sarah served as the Vice President of People at Brunswick Group, where she focused on performance management and talent development. She also led People & Culture at Wieden+Kennedy Portland, empowering employees to take creative risks and do the best work of their lives.

Her expertise in creative agencies, talent management, leadership development, and inclusion strategy ensures that Waverly partners with exceptional people to build stronger, more dynamic workplaces.
