About the Founder


With over 18 years of HR & Talent Development experience, Sarah Outlaw brings her passion for helping people into her work every day. Sarah has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Human Resource Management from Auburn University. Sarah has a proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders and driving projects to completion. She started her career in social & racial justice. Since then she’s worked across learning and development as well as employee relations, with a consistent goal of driving measurable impact through HR strategies.

Most recently, Sarah was the Vice President of People at Brunswick Group where she focused on performance management and talent development. Sarah served as a strategic partner to senior leadership and transformed the HR team into trusted business partners.

Sarah was the Head of People & Culture at Wieden+Kennedy Portland. Within HR, her focus is on empowering employees to take creative risks and make the best work of their lives. Sarah coaches HR professionals on how to enrich the employee experience and support people throughout their lives, both at work and outside of it.

Sarah is also extremely passionate about equity and inclusion in the workplace. She has 7 years of experience in the non-profit sector focusing on social justice. She continues to advocate for inclusion by building programs that create brave spaces and cultivate empathetic leaders.

Talent development is crucial to the success of inclusion programs, and Sarah has a demonstrated ability to build the architecture, design, and consulting for end-to-end talent management processes and programs aimed to support the overall talent strategy. She also has strong leadership skills and demonstrated the ability to lead and influence at the C-level and the business.
